Founded by Papa, Merv's has been serving Chattanooga for nearly 50 years.
Merv's isn't just a restaurant—it's where Chattanooga comes together. To some, it might look like an old building that needs a paint job, but to us, it's our whole life.
We took over from our mom, who took it over from her dad—our grandpa. In 2021, our mom got sick and our lives changed overnight. At 21 years old, we suddenly carried this responsibility. Still... we made it. And we're kicking butt doing it.
We're real people, just like everyone else. Some days you'll get the mom who woke up late, still in pajamas, got her son to school, and still rolled into work on time. Other days you'll get one of us covered in grass from mowing, stopping by straight from a yard to make sure everyone's happy.
That's why we say Merv's is the place where you come as you are—and you're always welcome.
